Members of the Greenwood High School Lacrosse team were in attendance this past weekend at Foxborough, Mass. Pictures and website updates will follow soon.

Syracuse wins the 2009 NCAA D-I Lacrosse Championship.

The Greenwood High School Lacrosse team is featured on the cover of this month’s High School Zone Magazine. There is a great article that hopefully will serve to introduce the sports of lacrosse even further to the Bowling Green area. Pick up a copy of the magazine at Greenwood or other local business that carries the magazine.

In addition to camps, work outs, and other lacrosse oppertunies this summer, you need to look into participating in Total Fitness Connections Strength and Speed & Agility program.  The program runs June 1st – July 31st and meets five days a week, Monday – Friday.  Each session is an hour long beginning at 9am, 1oam, 3pm, 4pm, or 5pm.  If you want to get bigger, faster, and stronger then this is the program you are looking for.  Contact Sean Hamilton at TFC (270)782-3503.

The Greenwood Gators sent their senior class out on a high note, beating Hendersonville (TN) 8-1.  Scoring for the Gators were Senior Kevin Donley with 2 goals, Senior Greg Scholla, Kaleb Rose, AJ Posthumus, Conner Donley, and Zack Kaelin.

Greenwood was previously scheduled to finish their season at Louisville Male, but that game has been canceled by Male.

Thank you to all of the fans who have showed up to support the Gators over the course of the season and especially the great crowd that showed up to support the seniors tonight.

Tuesday game against Hendersonville (TN) will start at 6:00 PM.  Senior night recognition will be held during half time.
